The Sneetches was conceived in 1961 during a time of historic movements for change and understanding. Now, 60 years later, it remains as relevant as it was when Dr. Seuss first put his pen to paper.

It seemed clear to Ted Geisel (aka Dr. Seuss) that celebrating the best in our humanity, our spirit, and our hearts was a worthwhile endeavor. He then showed us how this perspective could affect the way we interact with one another and, as a result, have a profound impact on the relationships we develop together.

The Sneetches are a timeless and resounding beacon for the good that comes from finding common ground, seeking collaboration and, most importantly, valuing friendship and understanding.
